It's easy to slip through life without taking any risks-without making your life count. But life is short and precious; it shouldn't be wasted. You don't need to know a lot to make a lasting difference in the world, but you do have to know the few great, unchanging, and glorious things that matter- and be willing to live and die for them.
You are never done living for the glory of God until you die. At the moment of death it is a high calling. And when you experience your death as gain, you will show the world just how precious Jesus is.

"Time Is On My Side" or is it ?
In 1964, the song "Time Is On My Side," by Irma Thomas, was very popular. Since then, it has been reproduced by several artists. But is this song true? Every 24 hours, over 150,000 people die. One person every 13 minutes dies in a car accident. Time is not on your side and what’s more important is what happens when you die. The Bible says, "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." When you die, you will stand before God and He will judge you by the 10 Commandments. How will you do on that day? Let's see. Have you ever lied, stolen or used God’s name in vain? If so, you will be guilty of sinning against God and end up in hell. But God doesn’t want that. The Bible says, "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." After Jesus Christ--God in the flesh--was crucified for the sins of the ungodly, He rose from the dead defeating death. If you will repent (turn from your sins) and trust in Jesus Christ, He will forgive your sins and grant you the free gift of eternal life. Isn’t that amazing? Don’t wait another day.
